At Travel Goat, we understand that travel plans may change due to unforeseen circumstances. Our cancellation and refund policy is designed to be transparent, fair, and in line with industry standards.
- Tour Package Cancellation Policy
Cancellation charges apply as per the date of cancellation prior to departure:
- 30 days or more before departure : 10% of total package cost
- 15-29 days before departure : 25% of total package cost
- 7-14 days before departure : 50% of total package cost
- Less than 7 days before departure : 75% of total package cost
- No Show / Same Day Cancellation : 100% of total package cost (No Refund)
Cancellation date is considered the day Travel Goat receives the written cancellation request.
- Flight Cancellation Policy
- Flight cancellation & refund rules are governed by airline policies
- Travel Goat charges a service fee (if applicable)
- Refund amount depends on:
- Airline fare rules
- Cancellation time
- Airline penalties
Some promotional or discounted fares are non-refundable.
- Hotel Cancellation Policy
- Hotel cancellation rules vary by hotel and season
- Most hotels follow:
- Free cancellation up to 7-14 days before check-in
- Within cancellation window ➝ 1 night to full stay charged
- Peak season / special hotels may be non-refundable
- Group Tours Cancellation Policy
For fixed-departure group tours:
- 30 days before departure ➝ 20% cancellation charge
- 15-29 days before departure ➝ 40% cancellation charge
- 7-14 days before departure ➝ 60% cancellation charge
- Less than 7 days / No show ➝ 100% charge
Minimum group size conditions apply. If the group is canceled due to insufficient participants, alternative dates or refunds will be offered.

- Cancellation terms are decided case-by-case

- Advance payments made to vendors are non-refundable
- Visa Cancellation Policy
- Visa fees, embassy charges, and service fees are non-refundable
- Rejection or delay of visa does not qualify for refund
- Refund Processing Time
- Refunds are processed within 7-14 working days
- Refunds are made via the original mode of payment
- Bank or payment gateway charges, if any, are non-refundable
- Force Majeure Clause
Travel Goat shall not be liable for cancellations or delays due to:
- Natural disasters
- Weather conditions
- Government regulations
- Strikes or political unrest
- Pandemics or health emergencies
Refunds (if any) will be processed as per supplier policies.
- Amendment Policy
Date changes, name corrections, or itinerary modifications may attract:
- Airline penalties
- Hotel amendment charges
- Service fees
- Important Notes
- All cancellations must be made in writing via email or WhatsApp
- Refund amount = Total paid - Cancellation charges - Supplier penalties
- Travel Goat reserves the right to amend this policy without prior notice
Terms and Conditions
Welcome to Travel Goat. By booking any travel service with us, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions. Please read them carefully before confirming your booking.
- Booking Confirmation
- All bookings are subject to availability.
- A booking is considered confirmed only after receipt of advance payment and issuance of booking confirmation by Travel Goat.
- Full payment must be completed before travel as per the payment schedule shared.
- Pricing & Payment
- All prices are subject to change without prior notice until confirmed.
- Prices may vary due to changes in fuel surcharge, taxes, exchange rates, or supplier costs.
- Payments can be made via bank transfer, UPI, credit/debit cards, or other approved modes.
- Any bank or gateway charges shall be borne by the customer.
- Cancellation & Refund
- Cancellation and refund will be governed by Travel Goat's Cancellation Policy.
- Refunds are processed after deducting applicable supplier charges and service fees.
- No refund will be provided for unused services.
- Travel Documents & Identification
Guests are responsible for carrying valid travel documents including:
- Passport
- Visa
- ID proof
- Tickets
- Travel Goat is not responsible for denial of boarding or entry due to incorrect or incomplete documents.
- Visa Policy
- Visa approval or rejection is solely at the discretion of the respective embassy.
- Visa fees, embassy charges, and service fees are non-refundable.
- Travel Goat shall not be held responsible for visa delays or rejections.
- Flights, Hotels & Transport
- Airlines, hotels, and transport providers have their own terms and conditions.
- Any delay, cancellation, or schedule change by suppliers is beyond Travel Goat's control.
- Seat allocation, meal preference, and room allocation are subject to availability.
- Group Tours
- Group tours operate on fixed itineraries and schedules.
- No deviation or customization is permitted during group tours.
- Travel Goat reserves the right to cancel or reschedule group tours due to insufficient participation.
- Corporate & MICE Travel
- Corporate bookings are subject to customized contracts.
- Advance payments made to vendors are non-refundable.
- Any additional services requested on-site will be charged extra.
- Health, Safety & Insurance
- Travel insurance is strongly recommended for all travelers.
- Travel Goat is not responsible for any injury, illness, loss, or damage during travel.
- Guests must ensure they are medically fit to travel.
- Force Majeure
Travel Goat shall not be liable for delays, changes, or cancellations caused by events beyond control including:
- Natural disasters
- Weather conditions
- Government restrictions
- Political unrest
- Strikes or pandemics
Refunds, if applicable, will be as per supplier policies.
- Amendments & Changes
- Any change in travel dates, names, or itinerary may attract additional charges.
- Amendments are subject to supplier approval and availability.
- Limitation of Liability
- Travel Goat acts only as an intermediary between travelers and service providers.
- We shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential losses.
- Customer Responsibility
- Guests must adhere to local laws, customs, and regulations.
- Any loss or damage caused by the traveler shall be their sole responsibility.
- Governing Law & Jurisdiction
- These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of India.
- Any dispute shall be subject to the jurisdiction of Mohali (sas nagar) judicial courts, in India.
- Acceptance of Terms
By confirming a booking with Travel Goat, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to all Terms & Conditions mentioned above.
